How does the commission process work?

Please first email me at hello@rachelhannahart.co.uk and let me know what exactly you're looking for. We can go over everything you'd like including colours, sizes, pictures you have of the room it will be placed in and previous works you like of mine that you'd like to incorporate. We can then discuss pricing and processing times.

When do I pay for a commission?

All commissioned paintings require an upfront 20% of total cost payment either by bank transfer or PayPal. The balance is then paid after the artwork has been approved before shipping or collection.

How is my commission priced?

Prices usually depend on the size of the canvas, materials used and the time it takes to complete the commission. For a quote please email me at hello@rachelhannahart.co.uk.

What medium do you use?

I mostly use acrylic paint and I work on primed wrapped canvas.

How long does it take for products to be shipped?

I'm located in Cardiff, Wales UK so here are the estimated shipping times worldwide:

  • Shipping within the UK normally takes 3-5 working days
  • Shipping to the USA takes 5-8 working days depending on which state.
  • Shipping to New Zealand takes 5-7 working days
  • Shipping to Canada, Australia and the rest of the world takes up to 2 weeks, and occasionally there are delays due to international customs.
Why bright copper items are more expensive than the others?

Do I have to pay customs taxes?

Anyone ordering outside the UK is responsible for any possible customs or related fees acquired in your home country.

How are the paintings/prints/products packaged?

All my products and paintings are professionally packaged in the relevant protective bubble wrap and thick cardboard packaging with great care. Packaging is important to ensure safe delivery of your purchases. Any problems on arrival please get in contact.

Returns process?

I hope you love your products I've sent however if not then please get in touch within 14 days of delivery and return the product within 21 days and I will issue you a refund or exchange. Products need to be in new and undamaged condition for refund or exchange to be agreed.
